"Bad Bunny signalled his support for Harris moments after comedian Tony Hinchcliffe made the remarks about Puerto Rico at the Trump rally in New York....
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/oct/27/bad-bunny-supports-kamala-harris
The video he shared on Sunday shows Harris saying: “There’s so much at stake in this election for Puerto Rican voters and for Puerto Rico.”
He then shared another part of the clip where Harris says: “I will never forget what Donald Trump did and what he did not do when Puerto Rico needed a caring and a competent leader,” she says." -
@[email protected] I was thinking about this more ... Harris had just rolled out her "Puerto Rico Opportunity Economy Task Force” earlier in the day, and Bad Bunny had that post with the video and talking points up soooo fast after the "comedian's" racist comments. So, was he already lined up to endorse, and just tweaked it slightly to include "that's how they talk about us"?
And for that matter, as my partner pointed out, the Harris campaign knew the rally was yesterday, and they knew who was speaking ... if that's the kind of "joke" the "comedian" regularly makes, did they time things with her outreach yesterday so that they were ready to take advantage of it?
